Bringing out the brush

I was asked to make a picture for someone with those words written on it. So, today, I did nothing but paint. I'm getting back my love for art. It's keeping me calm, and inspiring me to experiment with different color combinations and ideas. The fun part is thinking of different ideas for a picture. Here's what I have so far.       

A dress, heels, and an arm party.

Outfit post! It was decided that we girls were to wear heels and so we did. I was thinking of wearing pants but it seemed like a good idea to wear a dress, and so I did. Thanks to Elle for the photos.

just keep singing, singing, singing...

I'm writing again, and I'm so happy about it. I've been inspired by so many peoples stories, how the emotions of people differ. I thought it'd be fun to have things these people can't say or want to say made into songs. So far so good. Still trying to figure out what to do for the next few songs. I have so many ideas swimming around my head. I actually woke up yesterday to an almost complete chorus, the kind I could work with. The problem was, I was half asleep, as I went to grab a pen, the idea escapes. So there's a lost song there somewhere, if anyone finds it, please let me know. Have a listen to what I have so far. I'd like to know what you think.

Starting the year on a high note

Yes! Finally, a blog post. I've been so lazy to update my blog, but now that I think about it, I don't think I would've had anything to say. Also, before I forget. Happy new year everyone!

The year has just begun and so many things have happened in the past few days. It makes me excited for all the new adventures coming this 2013. I still have to get used to that. Two thousand and thirteen. Anyway, I've been getting back to music again. One of the things I've always been passionate about. I think it's one thing that'll never go away. My love for singing and now, writing songs. 2012 was not a very good year for my song writing. That's why I'm so happy about this year. I want to bring back my creative side again. I want to start doing things I love, and do it for myself. My list of to do's are getting longer and longer as each day passes.

Well, you know what they say, If you've bitten off more than you can chew, start chewing faster. haha.

Things are off to a very good start. Here's to new beginnings.

when mommy makes breakfast

When mommy makes breakfast she does it with love. She slices oranges in circles and makes herb butter toast. She even gives us some pasta too. A mug of coffee will help start the day right.

I love when my mom makes the food. It's just different. yumm...

lazy cat

I went out one morning to go to work. I found this cat lounging near the front of our gate. I had my camera out so I decided to take a picture. To my surprise, The cat started going near the camera. I suppose it felt like having it's picture taken hence, my close up picture of the cat. So here it is, the early morning lazy kitty. Enjoy!
